What you receive
Your AI Workflow Readiness Report normally includes:
- executive summary and principal finding;
- business objective and agreed scope;
- current workflow summary;
- information, systems and operational truth;
- decisions, exceptions and human judgement;
- AI suitability and non-AI alternatives;
- readiness constraints and confidence;
- principal risks and prerequisites;
- recommended first opportunity;
- recommended next action.
The report is typically four to eight pages, determined by the workflow rather than an artificial page target.
Four valid conclusions
Ready for bounded integration
The workflow is sufficiently understood and supported by reliable information to proceed to controlled design.
Ready with prerequisites
The opportunity is credible, but specified data, process, authority or measurement issues should be resolved first.
Not ready yet
Substantial ambiguity, unreliable information or unresolved ownership makes immediate integration inadvisable.
AI is not the best first solution
The problem is better addressed through process improvement, deterministic automation, system configuration or another non-AI intervention.
A conclusion not to proceed immediately is not a failed Assessment. It may prevent a much larger failed investment.

The package focuses on one workflow, but considers relevant systems, dependencies and neighbouring processes where they affect readiness, sequencing or future compatibility. Additional workflows are recorded as context rather than silently added to the scope.
Helpful evidence
Useful material may include anonymised forms, emails, screenshots, process notes, checklists, sample inputs and outputs, spreadsheet extracts, system descriptions, existing diagrams or supplier proposals.
Do not submit passwords, API keys, access tokens, private keys, unnecessary personal information or documents you are not authorised to share. A small representative set is normally more valuable than a large unfiltered data dump.
What is not included
The Assessment does not include detailed future architecture, code, workflow construction, production access, detailed vendor selection, organisation-wide strategy, legal or regulatory certification, guaranteed outcomes or implementation management.
If the evidence supports a wider or staged engagement, Codance will explain why and propose an appropriate next boundary before any additional work is agreed.

Do we need technical AI knowledge?
No. You need operational knowledge of the workflow. Codance supplies the structured analysis and integration thinking.
Must we already know what AI should do?
No. Your current idea is useful evidence, not a predetermined answer.
What counts as one workflow?
A workflow has a recognisable starting event, one operational purpose and a completion event—for example, receiving and qualifying an enquiry, onboarding a supplier or reviewing a submitted application.
Will the report recommend a particular vendor?
Not normally. The Assessment defines the opportunity and readiness. Product or vendor choice comes later when it is genuinely needed.
Does Codance implement the recommendation?
Implementation is not included. A separate engagement may be discussed, but the Assessment remains useful without buying anything further from Codance.
When does the delivery period begin?
When the mandatory requirements are complete and the workflow is sufficiently defined to begin meaningful analysis.
